Taeho Kgil

Taeho Kgil is an accomplished professional in the field of information security, currently serving as Vice President of Information Security at C3 AI since May 2024. Prior experience includes significant roles at Samsung Electronics from January 2019 to January 2024, where Kgil was both an Advisor and Corporate Vice President, managing teams focused on privacy-enhancing technologies and system security for flagship products. Additional roles encompass Head of Cloud Security Engineering at MagicCube, Inc., and Senior Director for Security at Visa, delivering secure infrastructures for various payment platforms. Kgil's career began with Intel Corporation as a Platform Architect and includes military experience as a Translation and IT Specialist for the Combined Forces Command. Kgil holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University.
