Nazim Uddin has several years of experience in scientific research and development. In 2015, they worked as a Scientist in Research and Development at MilliporeSigma, where they developed new products and performed custom synthesis. From 2019 to 2021, they joined Zymergen as a Scientist, where they focused on monomer characterization, formulation development, and the creation of technical data sheets for epoxy formulations. Nazim then advanced to the role of Senior Scientist focused on silver nanowire dispersion, ink formulation, and coating at C3Nano, Inc in 2022. Overall, Nazim Uddin has expertise in materials validation, adhesive formulation, and the development of novel bio-based materials for various applications.
Nazim Uddin completed their education in a chronological order as follows. Nazim obtained a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Dhaka. Nazim then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Organic Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, which they completed in 2008. Afterward, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Organic Chemistry at the same institution, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, graduating in 2015. Following the completion of their PhD, they engaged in Postdoctoral Research in Polymer Chemistry at Utah State University from 2016 to 2017. In 2018, they worked as a Research Associate in the field of Polymer Coatings and Adhesives at Michigan State University.
