Akshatha Venkatesha

Akshatha Venkatesha is an experienced professional in climate action and program management, currently serving as the Inclusive Climate Action City Advisor at C40 Cities in Bengaluru since August 2022. In this role, Akshatha designs and implements the ICA programme, focusing on stakeholder engagement and project management. Prior experience includes positions such as Assistant Manager of Fundraising at Pollinate Group, where strategies were developed for high net worth donors and multi-year grants, and Program Manager roles at Jain Mission Trust, where Akshatha contributed to establishing a rural hospital, and Foundation for Excellence, facilitating mentorship for engineering students. Additional experience includes project coordination and advocacy work for environmental initiatives across various organizations. Akshatha holds a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Architecture from B. M. S. College of Engineering.
