Kurt Scherer

Kurt Scherer is the Managing Partner of C5 Capital Washington and has over 15 years of experience in the field of national security. Kurt previously worked as the Director of the National Innovation Hub Network and the DC Innovation Center at Booz Allen Hamilton. In this role, they were responsible for connecting startups with resources and mentors in order to help them grow their businesses. Kurt also worked with the George Mason University to connect students with internships and job opportunities in the national security field. Prior to joining C5 Capital, they were a Managing Partner at Axiom Space, where they helped lead a global accelerator program to find the best startups in cyber security, AI, cloud, and space.
