Neil Lappage

Neil Lappage has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Neil has worked in various roles and positions in different organizations. Currently, they are working as a Security Advisor at ITC Secure. In addition, they are also the Managing Director at 59 Degrees North, where they hold a leadership position. Neil has also worked as a Partner at LeadingEdgeCyber. Neil has served as the Group CISO at Design Holding SpA and the CISO at C5 Capital. Neil has been associated with ISACA in multiple roles, including Advisor in the Information Security Group, Media Spokesperson in Emerging Trends, and Advisor in the Emerging Technology Advisory Group. Neil has also worked as a Cyber Security Advisor at KTL. In the past, Neil has served as a Cyber Security Risk Manager & Architect at Brisbane City Council and as a Cyber Security Manager at eHealth Queensland. Earlier in their career, they worked at IBM in roles such as Security Services Manager and Resiliency Services Manager.

Neil Lappage obtained a BTEC National Diploma in IT from South Essex College of Further and Higher Education in the years 1994-1996. Neil has also acquired various certifications throughout their career, including but not limited to ISO 27001 Lead Implementer - Information Security Certification, Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), ISO/IEC 27001 Foundation, VMware Certified Professional, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), and many others.
