Daniel O'Connor has over 30 years of work experience, starting with their role as an Officer/Pilot in the United States Air Force from 1987 to 2007. Daniel then transitioned to the private sector, working at C5T Corporation. At C5T Corporation, they served as a Manager/Consultant from 2007 to 2012, a Program Manager from 2012 to 2019, and currently holds the position of Director of Research since February 2019.

Daniel O'Connor began their education at the United States Air Force Academy, where they received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Human Factors Engineering from 1983 to 1987. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 1994 to 1999.

In 1999, Daniel attended the USAF Air University, Air Command And Staff College, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Military Operational Art and Science in the year 2000.

Later, in 2019, Daniel enrolled at Benedictine University, where they are currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Values-Driven Leadership, anticipated to be completed by 2023.

In addition to their degrees, Daniel has also obtained various certifications. In 2011, they became a certified Project Management Professional from PMI. Daniel also achieved the Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM) designation from the KM Institute in December 2014.
