Carol Schmatz

Carol has been with Chicago Aerosol since its inception in 2000. Carol oversees the research and development of products primarily in the personal care area and is also responsible for quality control, the specifications department, and troubleshooting product issues. Her mission is to help support the company with her extensive knowledge of aerosol formulation and quality control.

Carol has served in the aerosol industry for over 36 years. She served for 23 years at Accra Pac, now KIK Custom Products, located in Elkhart, Indiana before coming to Chicago Aerosol.

Carol has a Bachelors's degree in Biology from Purdue University. She is a member of the Consumer Specialty Products Association (CSPA), Society of Cosmetic Chemists, Midwest Aerosol Association, and the American Chemical Society.

In her spare time, Carol enjoys bike riding, traveling, and sports. She supports her favorite teams - the Buffalo Bills, Purdue, the Chicago White Sox, and the Bulls.
