Jia Gu

Jia Gu has extensive experience in risk management, currently serving as a Manager in Total Fund Risk Oversight and previously in the Liquidity Risk Group at CPP Investments since October 2014. Prior roles at CPP Investments included Associate positions in Market Risk Oversight and Active Investment Management, as well as Senior and Risk Analyst positions in Risk Analytics. Jia Gu began a career in risk analysis at Manulife Financial from January 2013 to April 2014. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a focus on Risk Management and Actuarial Science from the University of Waterloo, complemented by an International Baccalaureate from Shanghai Pinghe School. Early experience includes roles in actuarial and transaction services at Deloitte & Touche, Equitable Life of Canada, and London Life.
