Meng Gao

Meng Gao is an experienced finance professional currently serving as an Associate in the External Portfolio Management team at CPP Investments, focusing on hedge fund allocations within the Capital Markets & Factor Investing department since June 2022. Prior to this, Meng held various roles at Canaccord Genuity Group Inc. from June 2018 to May 2022, culminating in the position of Vice President overseeing multi-discipline portfolio management. Additional experience includes roles at Capco, Khazanah Americas Incorporated, RBC Capital Markets, and Highland Creek Partners LLC. Meng’s academic credentials include multiple degrees in Mathematics and Business Administration from the University of Waterloo, complemented by an International Baccalaureate Diploma with Summa Cum Laude honors from Westdale Secondary School.
