Puroo Maheshwari is a seasoned cybersecurity and technology leader with extensive experience in managing global security strategies and governance across various industries. Currently serving as Managing Director of Cybersecurity and Portfolio Value Creation at CPP Investments, Puroo oversees the cybersecurity strategy for over 80 portfolio companies. Prior roles include Interim Chief Technology Officer at PhilanthPro Solutions Inc., where accountability included technology strategy and information security, and Vice President at Thomson Reuters, leading a team of over 75 to enhance global security technologies. Puroo has held leadership positions at TD, overseeing enterprise risk governance and technology modernization, as well as significant consulting roles at Capco and Deloitte, focusing on technology strategy and transformation for major Canadian banks. Puroo holds an MBA from Ivey Business School and dual undergraduate degrees in Software Engineering and Biology.
