Sajjad Qasmi

Sajjad Qasmi is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in external portfolio management and capital markets, currently serving as Managing Director at CPP Investments since January 2008. In this role, Sajjad oversees investment strategies across the APAC region and participates in both global and regional investment committees. Prior experience includes senior portfolio management roles where Sajjad managed a global portfolio focused on credit and rates trading hedge funds, alongside earlier positions as portfolio manager, associate portfolio manager, and analyst in the same division. Earlier in his career, Sajjad worked as an analyst at Sandvine, developing high-performance operating systems and device drivers, and served as a senior analyst at Telematix Corporation, focusing on firmware development for wireless technologies. Sajjad holds a Master's degree in Mathematical Finance from the University of Toronto, a Master's in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, and a Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering from the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute.
