Julie Giraldi has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Since 2018, they have been working at CAAT Pension Plan, where they currently hold the position of Chief Human Resources Officer. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of People & Strategy Development at the same organization since 2018.

Before joining CAAT Pension Plan, Giraldi held the role of Vice President of Business Transformation and President of OMERS Foundation at OMERS from 2016 to 2018. OMERS is one of Canada's largest defined benefit pension plans.

From 2010 to 2016, Giraldi worked at the Ontario Hospital Association as the Chief Human Resources Officer and Vice President of Health Human Resources Leadership. In this role, they were responsible for a wide range of HR matters and was also a member of the Board of Trustees for HOOPP (Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan), one of the largest pension plans in Canada.

Giraldi also has experience in the public sector, having worked at eHealth Ontario from 2009 to 2010 as the Vice President of Human Resources. Additionally, they held the position of Chief Human Resources & IT Officer at the Ontario Hospital Association from 2003 to 2009 and Director of Human Resources & Corporate Services from 2000 to 2003.

Their career started at TTC (Toronto Transit Commission) in 1988, where they worked as the Director of Systems and Procedures until 2000.

Julie Giraldi, CHRE, ICD.D has a Bachelor's degree in Criminology and Italian Literature from the University of Toronto. Julie also completed a Design Thinking Program at Queen's University in 2018. In 2010, they attended Harvard Business School, and in 2009, they participated in an Advanced HR Management Program at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management. Additionally, in 2007, they completed an Executive Development Program at Queen's University.

Julie Giraldi has additional certifications including the Certified Human Resources Executive Designation from HRPA - Human Resources Professionals Association and the ICD.D designation from Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.
