Silvano Mendoza

Silvano Mendoza has worked in the technology industry since 2001. Silvano began their career as a Retail Store Manager at AT&T, where they managed the Tech area in several stores in the SF bay area, tested phones on the new GSM network, and repaired devices within the store. Silvano then moved on to T-Mobile in 2005, where they worked in the technician area updating and troubleshooting phones, worked with the data team to test network and device performance, and trained sales associates on data devices. In 2006, they joined Apple as an Apple Genius/ Mac Specialist, where they troubleshot computers and laptops, trained Mac Specialists to conduct basic troubleshooting and software resets, and tested iPhones prior to launch. In 2007, they became a Field Marketing Manager at Palm Inc., where they worked with developers to field test devices on cellular networks, troubleshot new versions of Palm OS, and presented findings within expected timeframes. Silvano then moved on to Mosaic/ Worldlink/ Samsung in 2008 as a District Field Marketing Manager, where they tested new phones and tablets prior to launch, trained sales associates on troubleshooting newly released devices, and presented in launch events. In 2012, they joined Sony as a Product Trainer/ Sales Supervisor, where they were responsible for store displays and functionality, tested phones, tablets, cameras, and TV's prior to launch, and conducted troubleshooting for field equipment. In 2013, they became a Market Manager Product Tester at Samsung Mobile, where they tested and conducted troubleshooting for devices prior to launch, reported feedback and results within required timeframes, and presented findings and conducted trainings. In 2015, they joined Sprint as an Account Executive. In 2016, they moved on to LeEco US as a Technical Marketing Engineer, where they worked on the development of new products, specifically the user experience for TV's, mobile phones, streaming boxes, and accessories before they go to market, composed test plans and test cases for product testing and analysis, and met industry requirements while advising various groups such as marketing, social, and R&D. Finally, in 2018, they became a QA Test Engineer at Caavo.

Silvano Mendoza attended Chabot College, College of Alameda, and James Logan High School.
