Jinmin Lee has a wealth of experience in the scientific field. Starting in 2019, they have been working as an Associate Director, Associate Principal Scientist, and Senior Scientist at Cabaletta Bio. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, where they applied CAAR T cell technology in B cell-mediated autoimmune diseases, developed and validated safety and efficacy of disease-specific CAAR T cells, and prepared for an investigational new drug (IND) application for clinical trials. From 2011 to 2016, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), where they mapped the spatial localizations of B cell receptors (BCRs) on B cells using super-resolution fluorescence microscopy and characterized atypical B cells. Finally, from 2006 to 2011, they were a Graduate Student and Teaching Assistant at Cornell University, where they worked on their Immunology Ph.D.
Jinmin Lee received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Immunology from Cornell University, a Master's Degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Yonsei University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Sogang University.
