Violeta Longino has a wealth of experience in the legal field. Violeta began their career in 2004 as an Associate at Greenberg Traurig, LLP, where they provided supervisory and compliance counseling for institutions regulated by the Federal Reserve and the Florida Office of Financial Regulation. In 2008, they moved to Holland & Knight LLP, where they represented clients in corporate and international transactions with emphasis on complex cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, formation of business entities, and financings throughout Latin America, Europe and the United States. In 2011, Longino became General Counsel for Phoenix Packaging Group, managing an in-house legal team in the United States, Mexico, Colombia and Venezuela and working with outside counsel in the United States, Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. In 2012, they held the position of General Counsel for Desca - Grupo Amper (MCE:AMP), handling all legal matters for the Spanish multinational public company in connection with its operations in the United States, Samoa, Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Mexico, Peru, Venezuela, Panama, and the Caribbean. In 2014, Longino joined Accor as Deputy General Counsel and Regional Compliance Officer, North & Central America, representing and advising the French multinational public company in connection with its operations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. In 2018, they became Hard Rock International and in 2021, they joined KAYAK. Currently, Longino is Chief Legal Officer at Caban Systems.
Violeta Longino has a Juris Doctor (cum laude) from the University of Miami School of Law and a Licenciado en Derecho (high honors) from Universidad La Salle, A.C.
