Jared Collins has been an Assistant Principal at Cabell County Schools since August 2009, following a role as a Special Education Teacher specializing in Autism at Cabell Midland High School. Additionally, Jared has experience teaching multi-categorical learning disabilities, behavioral disorders, and mild intellectual disabilities at the Cabell County Alternative School, as well as working as a substitute teacher in middle and high school settings. Prior to this, Jared was a twelfth grade Civics Teacher at Clay County High School, focusing on American Government and Policy. Early career experience includes serving as a Customer Service Associate at Amazon.com, addressing escalated customer service issues. Jared holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in School Principalship, a Master’s degree in Multi-Categorical Special Education and Autism, and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies Education, all from Marshall University.
