Matthew Simmons

Matthew Simmons is an experienced online editor and assistant editor with a strong background in video editing and post-production. Currently serving as an Online Editor and Assistant Editor at Cabin Editing Company since November 2020, Matthew has honed skills in project breakdowns, digital cutdowns, and preparing materials for color and audio mixing. Prior to this role, Matthew worked as an Assistant Editor at Hello Sunshine, where responsibilities included transcoding media and editing social media assets. Additional experience includes a Digital Editor position at DanceOn, where Matthew edited branded campaigns and established a file organization system. Earlier career roles include Office Production Assistant at Film 45 and internships at Caviar and Panavision. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Cinema and Television Arts from Elon University.
