Joanna Tam, PharmD

Joanna Tam, PharmD has held a variety of roles in the healthcare and content creation industries. Joanna began their career in 2015 as an Outpatient Pharmacy Intern at Boston Medical Center (BMC). In 2016, they held the role of Oncology (Sterile Compounding) Pharmacy Intern at Massachusetts General Hospital, Managed-Care Pharmacy Intern at Neighborhood Health Plan, and Junior Stylist at Free People. In 2018, they took on the roles of Staff Pharmacist and Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health. From 2017-2021, they were a Digital Content Creator at Instagram. In 2021, they became the Healthcare & Content Manager at Cabinet Health and the Founder & Writer at The Care Basket Blog.

Joanna Tam, PharmD obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Northeastern University in 2019, having also obtained a Bachelor of Science - BS in Pharmacy from the same institution in 2019. In 2021, they obtained a Fundamentals of Digital Marketing certification from Google and in 2020 they obtained a Registered Pharmacist certification from the CA Board of Pharmacy.
