Franklyn started their career in 2008 as the Chairman of the Board at Milo B Butler & Sons Ltd, a highly regarded family enterprise involved in real estate development, food and liquor distribution, and other business interests. In 2011, they joined AML Foods Limited as a Director, overseeing the premier retail supermarket chain in the Bahamas. In 2012, they added Directorship at Arawak Port Development Limited to their responsibilities. From 2012 onwards, Franklyn Butler held leadership roles at Cable Bahamas Ltd., first as the Vice Chairman of the Board and later becoming the President & Group CEO. Cable Bahamas is a prominent provider of landline, internet, and television services in the Bahamas and has expanded its operations into the USA and mobile telecommunications market. In 2016, Franklyn Butler became the Chairman of the Board at Aliv Business Collective, the second mobile phone network in the Bahamas known for innovation and customer-centric plans. Franklyn Butler has a diverse education history. Franklyn attended Harvard Business School for Executive Education, specifically the YPO Presidents Course, in both 2019 and 2020. In 2013, they also completed the YPO President's Course in Executive Management at Harvard Business School Executive Education. Additionally, in 2012, they attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management for Negotiation Strategies for Managers, and in 2011, they completed the Leading Family Enterprises program at the same institution. For their undergraduate degree, Franklyn Butler attended the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School from 2000 to 2003 and earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Accounting and Finance. Franklyn'searly education was at St Anne's High School from 1992 to 1998.
