Bernardo Alps

Bernardo Alps is an experienced professional with a diverse background in marine observation and photography. Currently serving as an Expedition Guide for Silversea Cruises and a Protected Species Observer for multiple organizations, including Catalina Sea Ranch and EPI Group, Bernardo has also held significant roles with NOAA focusing on marine mammal research and entanglement issues. As an Adjunct Research Scientist at Cabrillo Marine Aquarium, Bernardo provides expertise on avian and marine mammal matters and has developed extensive training materials. Additionally, Bernardo operates a photography business emphasizing editorial and event photography and has contributed to various media outlets in roles such as Photo Editor and Staff Photographer. Education includes studies at the Universidade de São Paulo and Escola Rudolf Steiner de Sao Paulo.
