Jennifer Nakao

Jennifer Nakao has cultivated a diverse professional background in education, marketing, and writing. Currently serving as a Volunteer Docent at Cabrillo Marine Aquarium since April 2019, Jennifer engages children in marine education. As a Freelance Writer since August 2012, Jennifer provides witty product reviews and insightful workplace commentary. Previous roles include Assistant Director of Admissions Consulting for MBA programs at Veritas Prep and various positions at Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions. Jennifer began their career as an International Marketing and Publicity Intern at Summit Entertainment. Jennifer holds an M.A. in Communication Management from the University of Southern California and a B.A. in English from the University of California, Berkeley.
