Philip Pitts is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in the fields of augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR), neurotechnology, and mixed reality. Currently employed at CACI International Inc as a software engineer for the NASA Orion Spacecraft, Pitts previously served as the head of software at OpenBCI, leading a team developing advanced technology at the intersection of neurotechnology and mixed reality. Prior to this, Pitts held the role of lead computer scientist at the United States Department of Defense, overseeing AR/VR research projects and managing an R&D laboratory. Additional experience includes founding and serving as CTO at Aurinko Studios, where Pitts researched brain-computer interfaces, and working as an independent contractor for Microsoft and a research intern at Esri.
