Chad Busby

Chad Busby possesses extensive experience in the cattle and agriculture industry, current serving in Cattle Procurement at Cactus Feeders since April 2020, overseeing the purchase of feeder cattle for multiple feedyards across Texas and Kansas. Prior to this role, Chad was a Research Manager and Feed Foreman with Cactus Feeders, where duties included managing daily operations for a large custom feedyard. Chad's background also includes a position as Sow Farm Manager at Cactus Family Farms, managing a sizable sow operation and focusing on employee development and biosecurity. Early career experiences included a management trainee role and practical cattle handling work at Cartee Farms. Chad holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Animal Sciences from Berry College and an Associate's degree in Agriculture from East Georgia State College.
