Cadbury Sixth Form College

Cadbury College caters exclusively for young people over 16 years of age and is organised to meet their particular needs, interests and aspirations. We offer over 50 A Level and BTEC Level 3 courses and many of our specialist staff are also examiners or chief examiners in their subject, so you can be sure of the very best quality of teaching. With over 80% of our learners going on to university, much that we do is geared to developing skills for that end and the changing world in which our leavers will work. Our students come from over 130 schools in Birmingham and the wider area, and they benefit greatly from joining other bright students from different communities across the region. Past students always comment on the college’s adult feel and its friendly but purposeful atmosphere. We provide an extensive range of enrichment courses; sporting, creative and social activities – so time at Cadbury is busy and never dull. Life at college is very different to that at school. Our students have more freedom and are expected to take greater responsibility for their own learning. However, as at school, a watchful eye is kept on our students’ performance and regular contact with parents is valued. Cadbury has high expectations of its students, not just in academic performance but also in the way that they conduct themselves and develop personally. They are expected to exemplify an ethos of mutual respect, positive encouragement and participation. (Jeremy Rogers, Principal)
