Matt Sparkman

Matt Sparkman is an experienced banking professional with a strong background in community banking and commercial lending. Currently serving as the Community Bank President at Cadence Bank since September 2022, Matt previously held the same title at BancorpSouth from January 2018 to September 2022. Prior to that, a tenure as Branch President at First State Bank Central Texas involved responsibilities in relationship banking and small business loans from August 2006 to January 2018. Earlier career positions include Vice President at JPMorgan Chase Bank from 1999 to 2006 and Branch Operations Officer at Tallahassee State Bank from February 1997 to June 1999. Matt's educational background includes a degree from the University of Arizona and participation in the TBA MDP Program.
