Omid Assare

Omid Assare is a Lead Software Engineer at Cadence Design Systems since September 2019, with previous experience as a Research Assistant at UC San Diego in the Microelectronic Embedded Systems Laboratory, focusing on performance analysis of timing-speculative processors from September 2012 to June 2019. Prior to that, Omid worked at Sharif University of Technology as a Research Assistant in the Energy Aware Systems Laboratory, where the focus was on modeling power consumption of VLSI circuits from July 2010 to September 2012. Educational qualifications include a PhD and MS in Computer Engineering from UC San Diego and a BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
