Paul Scannell

Paul Scannell is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in sales and field operations, currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations at Cadence Design Systems since April 2005. In this role, Paul leads global sales, customer success, and sales operations, focusing on fostering a high-performance, customer-centric culture that aligns intelligent design solutions with client objectives. Paul has held multiple leadership positions within Cadence, receiving numerous awards for performance excellence, including the North America Account Director of the Year in 2013 and various high-achievement recognitions throughout their career. Earlier experiences include roles at Verisity, Synopsys, Ward Davis Associates, Viewlogic, and Northrop Grumman Corporation, alongside educational credentials including an MBA in Finance and an MSEE in Communications Systems.
