Richard Gu

Richard Gu, CFA, serves as the Vice President of Investor Relations at Cadence Design Systems since April 2022 and has been a board member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) San Francisco since July 2019. With a robust background in investor relations and finance, Richard held roles such as Senior Vice President of Investor Relations & Strategic Finance at LivePerson and Vice President of Finance at VMware. Prior experience includes positions at Apple as the US Sales FP&A Lead, Google as Head of Sales Operations for SMB Business, and Pfizer as Director of Business Development & Finance. Richard's education includes an MBA in Finance from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and a B.A. in English Literature from Beijing Foreign Studies University.
