Shouvik Musavvir

Shouvik Musavvir is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in software engineering and research. Currently serving as a Lead Software Engineer in the DFT R&D team at Cadence Design Systems since January 2022, Shouvik has previously contributed as a Graduate Research Assistant at Washington State University, focusing on power management, design, and optimization of manycore systems and hardware security challenges. Additional experience includes a software intern role at Cadence Design Systems, specializing in datapath optimization, and a junior system engineer position at Bangla Phone Limited, addressing optical fiber path troubleshooting. Shouvik holds a PhD in Computer Engineering from Washington State University and a BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
