Vinay Patwardhan is an accomplished product management professional with extensive experience in the semiconductor and electronic design automation fields. Currently serving as the Product Management Group Director at Cadence Design Systems since August 2013, Vinay oversees all aspects of product management for the Digital Implementation solution (Innovus) and the 3D-IC Platform (Integrity 3D-IC), in addition to handling technical and product marketing responsibilities. Previous positions include serving as Sr. Manager for Corporate Applications Engineering in the Analog Mixed Signal Group at Synopsys, Director of Applications Engineering at Magma Design Automation, and Senior Design Engineer at Sun Microsystems, among others. Vinay holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from The University of Toledo and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from the University of Mumbai. Technical expertise includes digital implementation, signoff flows, and customer engagement in power/IR signoff solutions.
