Hilary Buxton has a work experience that extends over multiple companies and roles. Starting in 2009, Buxton joined National Grid as an Operational Support Manager until 2010 when they became a Replace & Extend Process Owner. In 2016, Buxton moved on to Cadent Gas Limited and took on the role of Head of Engineering. Currently, Buxton holds the position of Director of Engineering at Cadent Gas Limited since April 2021.

Hilary Buxton CEng FIMechE FIGEM pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Leicester from 1983 to 1986. The degree program focused on the field of Mechanical Engineering.
