Amit Hota

Amit Hota has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Amit worked at Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited as the Senior Vice President of Operations, where they were responsible for plant operations, compliance, and loan license operations. Prior to this, they served as the Associate Vice President at SUN PHARMA, Dewas, where they headed the formulation manufacturing facility and oversaw various departments. Before that, Amit Hota was associated with Cipla for over 20 years, where they held the position of Unit Head and managed multiple portfolios, including manufacturing, regulatory inspections, and new product launches. Amit started their career at Themis Medicare Limited as an Officer.

Amit Hota completed their Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree at Berhampur University, Berhampur from 1992 to 1996. Amit then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) with a specialization in Operations Management and Supervision at Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies from 2013 to 2015. In 2020, they obtained a Management Certification from the Mckinsey Management Program.
