Kiyomi Burchill

Kiyomi Burchill is a seasoned professional in executive operations and policy, currently serving as Senior Vice President at California Hospital Association since April 2019, where prior roles included Group Vice President in both Executive Operations and Policy, as well as Vice President of Policy. Previously, Kiyomi held key positions at the California Health & Human Services Agency from January 2012 to April 2019, culminating as Deputy Secretary for Legislative Affairs, and served as Planning Commissioner for the City of Sacramento from March 2011 to February 2016. Additional experience includes a fellowship with the German Marshall Fund in 2013 and various roles in the California State Senate from 2006 to 2011. Kiyomi holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity and Political Science from Stanford University.
