Thomas Potrusil

Thomas Potrusil serves as the Head of Medical Research & AI at CADS GmbH since November 2022. Prior to this role, Potrusil was employed at TGW Logistics Group as a Data Scientist and Cognitive Systems Developer from September 2019 to September 2022 and worked at Smartbow GmbH as a Data Scientist and Research And Development Engineer from June 2017 to June 2019. Experience at Medizinische Universität Innsbruck includes positions as a Postdoctoral Researcher, focusing on predictive models for the early diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases using brain MRI scans from January 2015 to May 2017, and as a Scientific Assistant from 2010 to 2013, where development of a Human Cochlear Nerve Model took place. Earlier experience includes a role at Carl Reiner GmbH as a Mitarbeiter F&E from 2007 to 2010. Thomas Potrusil holds a Doctorate in Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering from Technische Universität Wien (2010-2013) and a BSc/MSc in Biomedical Engineering from FH Technikum Wien (2004-2009).
