Britt Irwin

Britt Irwin, MBA has a diverse range of work experience in operations management. Their most recent role was as Director of Operations at CAE Healthcare. Prior to that, they held the position of VP of Operations at TSE Industries, where they were responsible for overseeing 6 manufacturing facilities with 300 employees and $100M in revenue. During their time at TSE Industries, Britt implemented various strategies such as Lean manufacturing principles, Hoshin Kanri Strategic planning, and Continuous Improvement/LEAN programs to improve plant capacity and efficiency. Britt also streamlined maintenance work order completion times and developed operational and capital budgets across multiple divisions. Before TSE Industries, Britt served as a Sr Director of Operations at Stryker, where they successfully improved the operational performance of a medical device manufacturing facility. Prior to that, they were the VP of Manufacturing/Sr VP of Operations at Tervis, where they led two manufacturing facilities and implemented a strategic plan that significantly improved company-wide on-time delivery metrics. Britt also has extensive experience in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries, having held various management positions at Covidien (now Medtronic Minimally Invasive Therapies Group). Overall, Britt Irwin's work experience highlights their strong leadership skills and ability to drive operational excellence in diverse industries.

Britt Irwin, MBA, completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business in 1998. Their field of study was Business Administration, Management, and Operations. Prior to their MBA, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University in 1993.

In addition to their formal education, Britt Irwin has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. In 2003, they received a Lean Certification from the University of Kentucky. Britt further expanded their expertise by obtaining a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) designation from APICS in October 2013. Most recently, in February 2023, Britt achieved the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from the Six Sigma Global Institute.
