Interim Chief Financial Officer at CAE

Constantino Malatesta was appointed Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in September 2024. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the global financial operations of CAE’s sites and training locations in over 40 countries. His responsibilities encompass financial reporting, treasury, global taxation, mergers & acquisitions, and structured financing functions.

Over the span of his nearly 20-year tenure at CAE, Mr. Malatesta has held various prominent leadership positions, including Chief Accounting Officer, Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller, Global Head of Finance for the CAE Oxford Aviation Academy, and Director of Finance & Assistant Corporate Controller. He joined CAE in 2006 as Manager, Accounting Standards.

Prior to joining CAE, Mr. Malatesta held positions in internal audit and financial reporting at Resolute Forest Products, and in audit and advisory services at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Graduate Diploma in Accounting from Concordia University. Mr. Malatesta is a Chartered Professional Accountant and U.S. Certified Public Accountant.
