Pete Dietert

Pete Dietert is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software support and simulation technologies for military applications. Currently serving as a System Software Specialist at CAE since July 2022, Pete provides software support for the CP140 Aurora Fleet's training simulators. Previously, from July 1996 to July 2022, Pete held various roles at the Department of National Defence, including Real World 3D Modeller for CP140 Flight Simulators, Mission Simulator Systems Engineer, and Synthetic Environments Team Lead, where responsibilities included defining user requirements, leading technical projects, and building compliant virtual environments. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Software Systems Engineering from George Mason University, an Aerospace Systems Course from the Canadian Forces School of Aerospace Studies, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Physics from the Royal Military College of Canada.
