Giovanni Cerretani

Giovanni Cerretani is currently working as a Software and DevOps Engineer at CAEN SpA since December 2017. Giovanni is involved in developing cross-platform libraries and front-end software for High Energy and Nuclear Physics applications using languages like C, C++, Python, and Java. Giovanni is also an expert in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment and is a part of the company's DevOps team. Prior to their current role, Giovanni worked as an Associate at INFN during their PhD and undergraduate studies at the University of Pisa. Additionally, Giovanni completed an internship at Fermilab where Giovanni worked on reconstructing muons in simulated neutrino interaction events. Giovanni holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics from Università di Pisa, a Master's degree in Fisica delle particelle elementari, and a Bachelor's degree in Fisica e Tecnologie Avanzate. Giovanni completed their high school education at Liceo Scientifico.
