Vishal Lal

Vishal Lal has a strong background in software development and engineering. Vishal began their career in 2010 as a Software Developer at SAP, where they coordinated localization strings and resolved bugs in the Crystal Reports Java installer. In 2012, they worked as a Software Developer at In Motion Technology, where they developed a Django web app and extended the functionality of a GPS Simulator. Vishal then joined Wazoku in 2014 as a Software Developer, contributing to the migration of a Django application to a single page web app and synchronizing data between CouchDB and PostgreSQL. Vishal also worked at Migreat during this time as a Software Developer, implementing template and cloudflare caching and refactoring code to follow DRY principles. In 2015, they briefly worked as a Software Developer at Giggy Pop, where they refactored views and performed migrations using Sequelize on AWS databases. Vishal then joined Container Solutions in 2016 as a Consultant and later as a Software Developer, working on various projects. In 2019, Vishal joined Comfy (by Building Robotics) as an Infrastructure Engineer. Currently, they are employed as a Senior DevOps and Software Engineer at Terabase Energy starting in 2022.

From 2007 to 2013, Vishal Lal attended Simon Fraser University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science.
