Panagiotis D. Kalantzis

Panagiotis D. Kalantzis has extensive experience in the coffee industry, starting with their role as a Managing Partner at Mestre Caffe from July 2009 to December 2017. Panagiotis D. then became a Business Consultant for Nico by Barbera 1870 in June 2019. In March 2019, they took on the position of General Manager for Corporate stores at Cafe Barbera 1870- The Italian Coffee House franchise, overseeing locations in Brazil, Tampa, and Dubai. In February 2020, they also became the Director of Operations for Cafe' Barbera - the Italian Coffee House, responsible for monitoring franchise operations and creating strategies for profitability. Additionally, they have served as the Regional Training Manager and Barista Trainer-Lecturer for various companies, including IEK PRAXIS and the Greek Ministry of Labour. Currently, they are the Managing Partner at AGS- Alpha general service and Cafe Barbera 1870- Greece. Panagiotis D. is involved in a new project called Caffe Barbera F&B Academy, where they serve as a Co-Founder and Trainer starting from January 2021. Prior to their career in the coffee industry, they were the Managing Partner at PnA Kalantzis, where they imported and sold Barbera Caffe from Naples.

Panagiotis D. Kalantzis has a strong educational background in both social science and tourism management. Starting in 2003, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Management from Technologiko Ekpaideutiko Idrima, Athinas, which they completed in 2007. Following this, they furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Science degree in Sociobiology Neuroscience and Education from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, which they completed in 2020.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Panagiotis D. Kalantzis has obtained various certifications over the years. These certifications cover a range of subjects, including brewing, technical security, food health and safety procedures, and training programs. Some of the institutions they received certifications from include the Specialty Coffee Association, Hellenic Food Authority (EFET), and the Greek Ministry of Labour.
