Saisha Brody is a Geology Graduate Student at Western Washington University, conducting research on magma evolution through petrological and geochemical analysis of melt inclusions from St. Augustine Volcano in Alaska. Prior experience includes serving as Staff Geologist II at SoundEarth Strategies, Inc., and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Whitman College, where Saisha analyzed soil production and hill slope development in the eastern Mojave Desert. Additional roles include Outdoor Orientation Trip Leader, Gleaning Intern at Blue Mountain Action Council, and Intern at Los Angeles Metro, as well as Conservation Assistant at the Resource Conservation District of the Santa Monica Mountains. Saisha holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geology and Environmental Studies from Whitman College and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Geology at Western Washington University.
