Abhijit Solanki

Abhijit founded Whiteboard Venture Partners in 2017. He is focused on helping entrepreneurs create, build and scale the next generation of enterprise companies.

A lifelong tech enthusiast and having grown up across 3 continents, he takes great satisfaction in meeting with passionate entrepreneurs who share a global vision on how new markets / technologies will unfold. Most recently, Abhijit was the cybersecurity investment lead at NexStar Partners. He joined NexStar from Symantec where he led the turn around of a $100M+ security product portfolio for the company. Concurrently he led Symantec’s product development efforts to incubate disruptive security solutions in partnership with multiple startups. Abhijit previously drove strategic projects on M&A, product strategy and business operations for the company. He also created a program aimed at providing free website security solutions to startups & non-profits.

Prior to Symantec, Abhijit was with the Strategy & Corporate Development team at VMware. Abhijit started his career at McKinsey & Company where he worked with growth-stage and Fortune 500 companies in IT infrastructure, industrials, and consumer electronics.

Abhijit holds an MS in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Rutgers University and has a Bachelors in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Bangalore University.
