Derek Ryan has a diverse work experience in the food service industry. Derek started their career in 2003 at Sodexho as an Operations Manager and worked there until 2006. Derek then joined Delaware North Companies as a Luxury Suites Manager from 2006 to 2012. Derek went on to become the General Manager of Food and Beverage at Centerplate at Boston Symphony Hall and Tanglewood from 2012 to 2014. Afterwards, they served as an Operations Manager at ARAMARK Healthcare from 2014 to 2015. Most recently, Derek has been with Cafe Services Inc., where they started as the General Manager in 2015, was promoted to the Director of Business Development in 2016, and is currently the Vice President of Business Development since October 2022.
Derek Ryan attended Palmer High School from 1996 to 1999, where they earned their diploma with a focus on General Studies. Following this, they pursued higher education at Johnson & Wales University from 1999 to 2003, earning a Bachelor's degree in Sports/Event/Entertainment Management.
