Samantha Petrie

Samantha Petrie has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2012 as a Sales Associate at Wooden Key Hallmark. Samantha later worked as an Undergraduate Lab Assistant at UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center in 2014. In 2015, they became a Full Stack Web Developer at Renaissance Computing Institute (RENCI), where they led the redesign of a university website and developed an Extensible Recommendation System. In 2016, they interned as a Product Management Intern at Premier Inc., creating a data analytics application. Samantha returned to Premier Inc. in 2018 as an Associate Business Analyst, where they guided a team and conducted customer interviews. In 2017, Samantha interned as a Data Analytics and Visualization Intern at Visa, crafting reports and pitching business cases. Samantha also worked at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School as an Entrepreneurial Leadership Research and Teaching Assistant. In 2020, they joined LeanTaaS as a Product Implementation Manager before moving to Novant Health as a Product Manager, where they introduced Scrum and Agile principles and collaborated with stakeholders. Currently, they are the Director of Product at Raptive, leading the Product Engineering team and practicing customer discovery and qualitative research.

Samantha Petrie completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended Zionsville Community High School from 2010 to 2014.
