Paul J. Lynch has a long history of work experience in the fields of media, communications, and education. In 2006, they began their career as a Teaching Assistant at UC Santa Barbara, then went on to become the Director of Documentary Film & Research for The Reclaim Initiative in 2005. In 2007, they were appointed as an Orfalea Fellow at the Clinton Foundation, where they worked to expand the reach of the Foundation's media production and long-term strategy. In 2011, they became a Part-time Lecturer at California State University, Channel Islands, teaching Introduction to Globalization. In 2015, they took on the role of Adjunct Faculty at Antioch University Santa Barbara, where they developed curriculum and taught in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program. In 2006, Paul also founded and became the CEO of Cage Free Productions, a media company that promotes social justice, human rights, and sustainability.
Paul J. Lynch received their MA in Global & International Studies from UC Santa Barbara in 2008, and their BA in Global & International Studies from UC Santa Barbara in 2002. Paul j also holds a certification in Human Centered Design from IDEO.org.
