Katelyn Connell

Katelyn Connell is a Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in patient care, currently working at Cahaba Medical Care since 2020, where responsibilities include assessing and treating acute and chronic conditions, conducting comprehensive health assessments, and supervising staff. Katelyn completed specialized training as a Family Nurse Practitioner Resident, gaining expertise in diverse medical fields while managing a patient panel from underserved populations. Earlier experiences include nursing roles at UAB Medicine and Children's of Alabama, as well as a Community Health Facilitator position with the Peace Corps. Katelyn holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Valdosta State University.
