Ashley Stringer, LICSW-S, PIP, is an experienced social worker currently serving as the Behavioral Health Clinical Team Lead at Cahaba Medical Care since June 2020, and co-founding Shining Minds Counseling Services since October 2021. With a strong background in supporting at-risk youth, Ashley has held various roles, including Electronic Monitoring Specialist at the University of Alabama at Birmingham since January 2009, where responsibilities include preparing reports for probation officers and ensuring juvenile compliance with house arrest standards. Previous experience includes positions as School-based Outpatient Therapist/Unit Supervisor and In Home Team Leader/Therapist at Jbs Mental Health Authority from November 2017 to June 2020, as well as Team Leader and Family and Child Specialist at Gateway (Child & Family Services) from November 2013 to November 2017. Ashley holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) focused on Adults and Families from The University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
