Todd Diaz de Valdes is a highly experienced mechanical engineer with extensive expertise in project management and design engineering across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at CAID Industries, Inc. since July 2019, Todd supports technical needs for client projects, focusing on detailed design and shop drawings. Prior experience includes roles as Project Manager and Mechanical Engineer at Freeport-McMoRan, where Todd managed engineering teams for significant projects at the Grasberg mine, and as Project Engineer at Hanlon Engineering & Architecture, overseeing the development of primary crushing facilities. With additional experience in leading mechanical engineering for facilities and projects at Jacobs, Kvaerner, and Bateman Engineering, Todd has a strong track record in plant design, equipment specifications, and multi-discipline team management. Todd holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona, obtained in 1994.
