Clément Jacquard, PhD has worked in various technical and research roles since 2010. In 2010, they were an Intern at CEA - Commissariat à l'énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives. In 2011, they were a Graduate Student at École Normale Supérieure de Cachan, an Intern at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and a Guest Research Fellow at UFRJ. In 2012, they were an Intern at Laboratoire Kastler Brossel (LKB). From 2013 to 2017, they were a PhD Student at Pierre and Marie Curie University, where they designed, built and characterized a single-photon subtractor. Since 2017, they have been Technical Project Manager at CAILabs, where they are currently designing products to develop beam-shaping and mode cleaning technology for Ultra Short Pulse lasers in material processing. Clément is also writing, maintaining and upgrading company-wide software in Python. Past projects include breaking things, killing failure hypotheses one after another and fighting to perfect the product.

Clément Jacquard obtained a Master 1 in Fundamental Physics from the École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay in 2011. Clément then attended the École de Physique Des Houches 2013 in 2013 for Nanophotonics and Quantum Optics. In 2012, they received a Master 2 in Optics, Matter & Plasmas from Pierre and Marie Curie University. Clément holds no additional certifications.
