Jovana Zhu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Jovana started their career in 2006 at Texas A&M University, where they worked as a Graduate Student/Research Assistant and later as a Research Technician/Laboratory Manager. In 2013, they joined the Brooklyn Chinese-American Association as an Administrative Associate before moving to Functional Life Achievement as an Early Intervention Service Coordinator/Case Manager.
In 2016, Jovana joined CAIPA CARE, LLC as a Care Coordinator and then transitioned to CAIPA, Inc. in 2018, where they served as a Practice Transformation Specialist/Account Executive. Jovana continued their career with CAIPA MSO in 2019, initially as a Team Lead and then as a Manager of Provider Engagement. Jovana'smost recent role at CAIPA MSO is Assistant Director of Provider Engagement and Quality, which they have held since January 2023.
Jovana Zhu has a diverse education history. Jovana completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry at the New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering from 2002 to 2006. Jovana then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Chemistry at Texas A&M University, which they completed from 2006 to 2011.
In 2017, they obtained a Health Coach Certificate from the 1199SEIU National Benefit Fund. Additionally, Jovana obtained a Certificate of Achievement in "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" from FranklinCovey in November 2006. Jovana further expanded their expertise by obtaining a Patient-Centered Medical Home Certified Content Expert certification from NCQA in March 2019, and a Mental Health First Aid USA Certificate from the National Council for Behavioral Health in May 2019.
Jovana is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Health Care Management at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, which they will complete from 2020 to 2023.
